Educational Program

 

The educational program of the school will follow the curriculum incorporated in the Sunshine State Standards.  The school will follow the same school calendar year as the Sponsor.  The school day will be the same length of day.   

The progress of students toward mastery of the curriculum will be monitored using data derived from a variety of formative assessments that are current and ongoing.  Analysis of these data will guide both group and individual instructional planning.   

This is a tentative curriculum offering which may be adjusted based on the needs of the student population that are enrolled. 

Intensive Reading and Math will be offered as electives.  Physical Education will be required as indicated as a minimum by the State and as an elective after the requirements have been fulfilled. 

Other electives and exploratory classes will be offered based student interests and on the certifications and the skill set of the staff.
